   This is the third filter and the previous two worked fine. They fit snugly and filter the particles. My only concern has more to do with the air handler than with the filter, which is that most of the filtering is done at the bottom of the filter.

   Tried to purchase this filter locally from my dealer but they wanted a service charge just to bring it to the house. Picked this one up here and saved $50 in the process.This is an exact replacement for my filter and dropped right in.How did I know I needed a new filter? Well, besides the “replace filter” notice on the touch screen all the time, it was becoming obvious that the overall airflow through the system was low as the actual A/C unit couldn’t push enough air through the house to keep it cool in the hottest part of the day.That and I noticed there was very little airflow in my office.OK, OK, so I should replace that filter a little more often than I did. Lesson learned!

   This is the second time I have bought this filter for our whole house air cleaner on Amazon. It is much cheaper there than getting it through our service provider. It needs to be changed roughly about once a year or whenever the thermostat notifies us that it is dirty and needs to be changed. Now I have it waiting for them to change when they service our unit at one of the semi- annual service checkups.

   It’s expensive, but we’ve gotta have it. It works. It isn’t counterfeit. The price is better than my HVAC company. Shipping is fast. We are on our third now purchased from this vendor.
