It is ridiculously hard, actually impossible, to find a 3 inch air filter in the stores around me, so I am beyond happy I could order one on Amazon. Shipping was super quick and the air filter works as it should. Only issue I had was that this filter was ever so slightly wider than my old one, as seen in my photo, so I had to fight it to slide in my furnace’s filter holder that has tracks in it to hold the filter securely and ended up indenting the cardboard a bit where I had to push it in all the way. A bit expensive for something disposable, but price seems comparable with other brands.

I have no idea if it is really a merv 13 but the size is right and is decently sturdy. Some filters are floppy crap, even thick ones, but these are better than the last filters I used which were fine. I have no reason to believe its not merv13 but there wasn’t a significant change in amps when on my blower motor when I swapped it out with a merv8. Similar pleats / surface area so I expected a change in amps, but didn’t see one. FWIW higher flow means higher amps on blower blades. The opposite of typical fans.
